The Job. Lovely rear extension with fantastic bifold doors that had previously been fitted.
The old back door and window still remained and was ugly and spoiled the space which will be a kitchen area in the future.
We carefully prepared the area by erecting a screen and sheeting up and sealing off the work area.
Removed the old window and door and disposed of. The brickwork was toothed out to join in with the new infill work.
The cavities were reopened at the reveals to allow the wall to be insulated completely.
The new brick and block work infill was completed . When we were happy with this we then plaster boarded the ceiling .
The wall was dot and dabbed and the old wall was repaired . The whole area was then plaster skimmed with two coats of plaster.
Our really lovely customers were so happy and we are returning to complete further works soon.
